CERG PAC was founded on the belief that political representation matters—that our voices must be present and powerful at every decision-making table. As we evolved, we recognized that representation alone, while essential, is not enough. Our community also needs a focused economic strategy that delivers tangible results.

CERG 2.0 reflects that evolution: a Political Action Committee dedicated to advancing the economic outcomes our community deserves — homeownership, quality employment, and a thriving ecosystem of Black-owned businesses. These pillars are the building blocks of generational wealth, and they make everything else possible.

When our community achieves economic security, we gain the capacity to strengthen civic organizations, faith communities, and cultural institutions that have always defined us. CERG PAC 2.0 offers a comprehensive range of services aimed at empowering and enhancing the political participation of African Americans and other underrepresented communities of color. Our dedicated team advocates for specific priorities, raises funds, and makes contributions to support the election of candidates for Montgomery County Council. With a focus on fostering a culture of active political engagement, promoting economic empowerment, and advocating for social justice, we are committed to amplifying the voices and concerns of our communities, ensuring they are heard, represented, and valued in the political decision-making processes.
