CERG 2.0 is extremely excited to endorse Laurie-Ann Sayles for county council at large. Her body of work, passion and most notably her experience make her a clear cut choice to join the Montgomery County Council. She has been a consistent fighter for economic development, affordable housing, criminal justice reforms and numerous policy issues important to our community. Her experience overshadows all contenders. Most notably she has been Chair of the National League of Cities Community & Economic Development Advocacy Committee, Board of Directors of the Maryland Municipal League’s Legislative Committee, served on the Gaithersburg City Council and been named Environmentalist of the Year. Her endorsements are too numerous to mention. For all of these reasons, we need Laurie-Ann representing us on the Montgomery County Council.
